Morbid Curiosity by FoxFace Zero

Title: Morbid Curiosity
Author: FoxFace Zero
Summary: Post-Series On her deathbed, Irina Spasky has an unusual request for Ian Kabra... Call it morbid curiosity. Ian/Amy

Review:

Morbid Curiousity is one of the older stories of the archive, which is why not that many of the newer writers find it. A pity, because it truly is an interesting read. With a mixture of sarcasm, humor, action, and romance, it's everything you could ever want in an Amian story.

To summarize the story differently than the author herself, Irina is in the hospital, and is visited by her adopted son, Ian Kabra. She asks him to retell his story of how him and Amy got together. The story is told simply in dialogue as well, making it quite unique in its own way. But I shall stop there, and let you find out the rest yourself.

Personally, I adore both the story and the writer. She's a very nice girl, and talented, as well. I simply love the interactions between Irina and Ian. The insults are hilarious, from "Bet you miss your soul" (chapter eight) to "glib little turd" (chapter fifteen). Not only is the humor worth laughing your butt off, but there's also drama and action, which makes it all worth it.

Not to mention this story won the first round at The Madrigals (an awards site for The 39 Clues) for Best Romance.

And it totally deserved it! With great grammar and spelling and a driving plot, not reading this would be like passing up a chance to go to an amusement park.

Don't miss out on this classic Ian/Amy story of the archive!
